Children are constantly learning from what they see and experience. This sometimes involves gentle guidance to understand ; how to interact with others carrying the best positive kindness energy, how their actions might affect those around them and how to be of help and get help from each other.

Growing up, I learned kindness isn't just taught, it's felt, experienced and passed on. This heavily inspired my creation of a children's book,  THE KINDNESS CORAL,(part of the Gentle Bedtime Stories Collection) of a meaningful story that will help children understand kindness in a way that stays with them. The story is designed to teach your child that kindness doesn't have to be big to matter, helping others creates a ripple effect and that their actions can make someone's world better. 

This story is thoughtfully set in an underwater world, using sea characters to create a calm, engaging and imaginative space to easily accommodate children aged between 3-10 years. It all starts with a message from the kindness coral to the ocean animals that is delivered to Kai the fish. Through his first act of kindness, charity is spread through the entire ocean which had a magic way to make the kindness coral glow. In turn, the ocean blooms with love and life again. This structure intentionally educates how the world could be a better place if everyone practiced acts of kindness. The book also comes with an additional activity page to ensure physical reflection of kindness acts by the child for effectiveness of the story.
